Who is Kendrick Lamar?
Kendrick Lamar's rise to fame began in the early 2000s when he started making a name for himself in his hometown of Compton, California. Initially going by the name K.Dot, Lamar's raw talent and storytelling abilities began to attract attention, leading to a deal with Top Dawg Entertainment in 2004.
Lamar's big break came with the release of his critically acclaimed mixtape Overly Dedicated (2010), which helped him gain a larger following. In 2011, he released Section.80, which earned him significant recognition, particularly for its politically charged lyrics and introspective content. His breakthrough came in 2012 with the release of good kid, m.A.A.d city, a concept album that detailed his upbringing in Compton. The album received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success, earning Lamar a Grammy nomination and establishing him as one of the most important voices in hip-hop.
Since then, Lamar's career has flourished, with subsequent albums like To Pimp a Butterfly (2015) and DAMN. (2017) further cementing his place in music history, with both albums winning Grammy Awards and earning him widespread respect as a lyrical and cultural icon. His rise to fame is a testament to his talent, authenticity, and ability to connect with listeners through his powerful, thought-provoking music.

Mint a 1/1 Hip-Hop Legend.
THE BOOMBOX WASN'T JUST A MUSIC PLAYER—IT WAS A VESSEL OF CULTURE, INVENTED IN 1966, AND THEN IT WAS USED TO BLAST THE HEARTBEAT OF HIP-HOP INTO THE STREETS IN THE 1980'S. IT CARRIED REBELLION, RHYTHM, AND RAW EXPRESSION FOR THE YOUTH, TURNING SIDEWALKS INTO STAGES AND BLOCKS INTO MOVEMENTS.
THE KABOOMBOXES ECHO THAT SPIRIT, TRANSFORMING SOUND INTO A VISUAL LANGUAGE, FUSING NOSTALGIA WITH THE FUTURE OF MUSIC INNOVATION.
JUST LIKE THE BOOMBOX GAVE HIP-HOP ITS VOICE, KABOOMBOXES AMPLIFY THE LEGACY OF ART & MUSIC IN A NEW DIMENSION.

Kaboomception
The KaboomBox is a character created by ZENSHY, he often found himself feeling like a KaboomBox, eyelids shut half way, always tired of the same bullshit that society fed him, until he discovered music, which raised his eyelids and gave him a smile!
The KaboomBox was created out of a love for music and art, he takes inspirations from artists like DALEK, Takashi Murakami, Persue1 & Greg Mike. ZENSHY created the character when he just began to explore illustration and brand building at just the age of 16.
Six Years later he's dropping a PFP project merged with a whole music album from The Gooneez to celebrate NFT's & Music.
"I was exploring all these super cool artists that had staple characters that were a part of their brand and were used as Motifs; DALEK with his Space Monkeys, Jeff Staples with his Pigeon, Murakami with his flower. I wanted to merge something between music, my feelings & street art. I grew up in Dubai but I always admired these things that kinda empowered the underdog, being an Indian I felt like one, which is why I made The KaboomBoxes."
